We welcome you to this cozy online home of ours, where the smell of bread is constantly being baked.
We - Gabriele and Giedrė - are two mothers whose friendship began at the university, grew stronger every day as we stepped on the threshold of the same job, and then blossomed even more after saying goodbye to it and stepping into the most important position in the world without working hours - raising a little person.
Since the beginning of motherhood came at almost the same time for both of us, the desire to discover something new, but at the same time more favorable to health, also coincided. And as we spend more and more time at home and take care not only of our own but also of the little ones' daily diet, it has become especially important that we put only such products on the table more often, with the list of ingredients as short and understandable as possible.
This is how home-baked bread appeared - bread with natural sourdough, which only contains flour, water, salt and our time.
About us and the journey towards homemade bread
The beginning was not smooth. An ideal round loaf of sourdough bread with a perfect "ear" stood in front of my eyes, but in reality, the leaven kicked in, and the tools failed, and even got lost in a big swamp of information. So there was no one to rely on, to ask for advice, but unfortunately the process of learning the art of baking bread took only thanks to great stubbornness. With him came a lot of experience and a desire to help others on this journey.
Our purpose
Turning the mythic bread making process into a clear process that could easily inhabit everyone's kitchen.
And it doesn't matter if you spend most of the day at home or are a rare guest, with the desire, the right tools and a little information at hand, you can consistently achieve a fairly simple result - tasting a barely warm slice of a loaf formed by your own hands.
